Our program follows the Early Years Learning Framework, building preschool skills in a fun and engaging small group environment. At Beehive we build curiosity, confidence, kindness, patience and capability through inquiry-style learning by experimenting, playing, discussion and wondering together.

Our indoor space includes a home corner, story corner with comfy cushions, art room, and a range of toys, books, puzzles and other educational resources for the children to explore. We have a lovely outdoor play area with a cubby house, tunnel, grassy hill, balance bikes and a covered sandpit, along with a wide range of equipment to develop gross motor skills. There is also a water course which the children can pump water into when the weather is warm.

Our preschool sessions are led by a qualified teacher and supported by an aide. Class sizes are capped at 15 to ensure each child receives the care and attention they need to help them thrive.

Times and fees

Sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am - 1pm during school term times. The cost is $11 and hour, which is $44 per session. As a not-for-profit association, we keep our fees as low as possible while covering our costs. Unfortunately our service is not eligible for government childcare subsidies.

Drop-off and pick-up

Please note that sessions commence at (not before) 9am. If families arrive early we ask you to wait in the courtyard area until 9am as staff may still be setting up. Parents are not to leave their children before 9am, and it is best to allow a little extra time to get your child settled after the session has commenced, especially for the first few weeks of term. Sessions finish at 1pm and we ask parents to arrive promptly for pickup.

If this is your child's first term attending Beehive Preschool there is an additional one-off enrolment fee of $50. Please ensure you tick the box in 'additional items' below to add the fee to your invoice if your child has not previously been enrolled.

Children enrolled in Beehive sessions for this term will have their enrolment renewed for the remainder of 2026 by default. You will be invoiced prior to the commencement of each term. If you do not wish to continue your child's enrolment past this term, please let us know.
