Our program follows the Early Years Learning Framework, building pre-kindergarten skills in a fun and engaging small group environment. Each week we develop a theme through activities, songs, stories and rhymes.

 

Our indoor space includes a home corner, story corner with comfy cushions, art room, and a range of toys, books, puzzles and other educational resources for the children to explore. We have a lovely outdoor play area with a cubby house, tunnel, grassy hill, stepping logs and a covered sandpit, along with a wide range of equipment to develop gross motor skills. There is also a small vegetable and herb garden which the children help to care for.

 

Sessions are led by a qualified teacher and supported by an aide. Class sizes are capped at 15 to ensure each child receives the care and attention they need to help them thrive.

 

Sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am - 1pm during school term times. The cost is $44 per session. As a not-for-profit association, we keep our fees as low as possible while covering our costs. Unfortunately our service is not eligible for government childcare subsidies.

 

Please note that sessions commence at (not before) 9am. If families arrive early we ask you to wait in the courtyard area until 9am as staff may still be setting up. Parents are not to leave their children before 9am, and it is best to allow a little extra time to get your child settled after the session has commenced, especially for the first few weeks of term. Sessions finish at 1pm and we ask parents to arrive promptly for pickup.
