Bazil Grumble activities and events are not considered dangerous. Nevertheless, as with any physical activity, they cannot be guaranteed to be free of any risk of injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential.

 

In this terms and conditions, unless inconsistent with the text or the subject matter, the following definitions shall apply:

The Class shall mean School-based Drama Classes, Little Stars Playtime and Mini Makers.

 

(a) Bazil Grumble has promoted the activity and the participant has requested to participate in this activity;

(b) Bazil Grumble has agreed that the participant shall participate in the activity subject to the participant indemnifying Bazil Grumble, its servants and agents against claims for loss and damage caused to him/her as a result of such participation;

(c) The Participant has agreed to indemnify Bazil Grumble and its servants and agents against all or any such loss or damage whether caused by the negligence of Bazil Grumble, its servants or agents or otherwise.

 

1. The participant or their representative indemnifies and will at all times keep Bazil Grumble and its servants and agents indemnified from and against all actions, proceedings, claims, demands, costs and expenses in respect of any injuries, loss or damage however caused and whether through the negligence of Bazil Grumble and its servants or agents or otherwise and in any way connected with participation in Bazil Grumble activities or events.

2. The participant agrees that photographs and video footage may be taken of him/her during the class, the activity or event. These may be used by Bazil Grumble to promote future programs.

 

The participant or their representative understands and agrees that:

 

1. Payment must be received prior to the delivery of service as per payment terms specified on the invoice, or as per written agreement between Bazil Grumble and the customer. For School-based Drama Classes, Little Stars Playtime and Mini Makers, payment of full term fee is required in advance and is non-refundable. In advance is defined as prior to the start time of the student/s first class each term. If payment is not made by the start time of the student/s first class each term, an administration fee of $20 will be applied.

2. For School-based Drama Classes, full payment MUST be received by the end of the week prior to the performance or showcase. If payment is not received by this time, your child will be unable to attend the end of term performance or showcase.

3. If student/s attend no obligation trial class for School-based Drama Classes and Mini Makers, and does not wish to continue with the class, the individual that completes enrolment is required to contact Bazil Grumble in writing no later than 6 days after the student/s first class to avoid incurring any charges and to receive a full refund of term fees. If the individual that completes enrolment contacts Bazil Grumble in writing after 6 days, a pro-rata refund of term fees will be issued with an administration fee of $20 deducted.

4. The individual that completes enrolment is responsible for full payment, unless advised in writing.

5. If student/s are not attending a no obligation trial class, written notification of all cancellations is required and term fee is non-refundable. Only students who have never previously attended a Bazil Grumble School-based Drama Classes and Mini Makers class are eligible for no obligation trial class.

6. Where a participant is withdrawing from the classes and the account has not been settled, participants will be sent an invoice for the total number of lessons attended, plus an administration fee for each student withdrawing.

7. Other fees and charges may apply as specified on the invoicing document.

8. If a students behaviour is deemed to be unacceptable by the teacher/teachers and Artistic Director, the childs enrolment will be cancelled, and all monies for remaining classes not attended will be refunded minus a $20 administration fee. 9. Where classes are unable to be facilitated in person due to COVID-19 safety requirements or directions, Bazil Grumble reserves the right to teach all classes through an online format. Term fees will not be refunded in these circumstances.

10. Bazil Grumble reserves the right to cancel or present in an online format any performance, showcase or exhibition planned and advertised upon booking the class if it is determined that the live, in-person performance, showcase or exhibition cannot be presented in compliance with COVID-19 safety requirements or directions.

11. On occasion where a scheduled class is cancelled or postponed and Bazil Grumble is unable to teach the class through an online format, an alternative date will be organised and communicated via email to the individual that completes the enrolment. If no option is available for an alternative date, participants will be issued with a direct discount to the value of the class that can be used for a future booking with Bazil Grumble.

 

1. If the customer fails to pay within the specified payment terms, the participant will be excluded from class activities and/or future classes, or where the service provided involves a performance or workshop, Bazil Grumble may choose to cancel the engagement.

2. Bazil Grumble reserves the right to engage third party agents to aid in the recovery of monies, including but not limited to collections agencies and/or solicitors, and the costs incurred will be added to the original debt.

The individual that completes enrolment is required to contact Bazil Grumble in writing no later than 6 days after the student/s first class to avoid incurring any charges and to receive a full refund of term fees. If parents are late to pick up their children after the class, a late fee will apply. Late fees are per child.

The price thereafter is then $20 per 30 minutes (or part thereof). Parents who are one hour late are not permitted to continue the term. Term fees are non-refundable.

 

 

Residents of all ages and abilities can experience an exciting and diverse range of recreation programs offered by Brisbane City Council. Bazil Grumble is one of the registered contractors for the activities. These initiatives encourage residents from all walks of life to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.

Parents are required to stay with children for the duration of the workshop. Bazil Grumble artists facilitate the sessions, however parents are required to supervise and monitor their childrens behaviour. If a participants behaviour is deemed to be unacceptable by the workshop facilitator and Artistic Director, the childs registration will be cancelled. If a participant fee is applicable to this workshop, Bazil Grumble requires payment upon registration to confirm your place. Please contact the Bazil Grumble office should you need to organise alternative payment options. Participant fees are non-refundable for change of mind.

 

As per our guidelines provided by the Brisbane City Council, activities will be cancelled if the weather makes it unpleasant or unsafe to carry out the activity, or if damage may be caused to the park. We have been instructed not to cancel the event prior to the time that the event is due to be held, rather we must attend the site to assess the situation and advise participants of the cancellation should it need to occur due to the circumstances at that time.

 

Should workshops be cancelled as a result of the weather*, we will happily allocate this fee to another Bazil Grumble event, or refund the amount to you. It is up to the participant to contact Bazil Grumble to direct us as to how you would like to assign your participant amount.
