HOLIDAY PROGRAMME & ATHLETE DEVELOPMENTTERMS AND CONDITIONS
In these Terms and Conditions, 'you' means the parent, guardian or caregiver where relevant, 'we' or 'our' means AUT Millennium and 'facility' means AUT Millennium, 14-17 Antares Place, Rosedale, Auckland.
1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the AUT Millennium Holiday Programme, and Athlete Development Holiday Academy and Youth Academy. By reading and clicking the acceptance box, you accept these terms.
2. BOOKINGS AND ENROLMENTS
2.1Enrolmentsare only accepted online at www.autmillennium.org.nz.
2.2 Payment must be made at the time of booking.
2.3 Bookings made are non refundable. In the case of unforeseen medical or family emergencies, refunds will be considered at the discretion of the Programme Co-ordinator.
2.4 If your child is going to be absent from a day's activity, please notify us so we are not concerned when they do not arrive.

3. HOLIDAY PROGRAMME AND ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT HOLIDAY ACADEMY DROP OFF AND PICK UP
3.1 In the morning, all children are to be signed in at the beginning of each day by their parent/guardian/caregiver at the Programme Reception.
3.2 In the afternoon, all children must be signed out by the person/s nominated on the online enrolment at the Programme Reception.
3.3 Children will not be allowed to leave without being accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver who is listed on the online enrolment.
3.4 Drop off opens at 8amfor the Holiday Programme with the programme commencing at 8.30am.
Drop off opens at 8.30am for the Athlete Development Holiday Academy with the programme commencing at 9am.
(PLEASE NOTE - we do not offer any supervision prior to the stated drop off times).
3.5 If you child has not arrived by 8.45am without prior notice, AUT Millennium will offer the place to those on the waiting list.
3.6 Pick up is by 3pm at the latest, with each day's programme finishing at 2.30pm. Late charges of $15 per 15 minutes will be incurred if the child is picked up later than 3pm.
4. MEDICATION
4.1 All medication must be handed to our Programme Head Instructor and appropriate medical consent form completed at sign in for our staff to administer any medication.
4.2 Children may not administer their own medication (excluding asthma inhalers) unless written consent has been given to the Programme Co-ordinator.
4.3 All our programme staff are first aid trained and will administer minor first aid if required.
4.4 Our programme staff will record all details, including date, time and dosage of medication or minor first aid administered.
4.5 Our Programme Head Instructor or Co-ordinator reserves the right not to accept a child who is unwell
4.6 Please do not bring sick children to the holiday programme as illness may affect other children and/or activities. If a child becomes ill during programme hours, parents will be called and asked to collect them.
4.7 In the event of an accident, injury or illness once the programme has commenced, our Programme Head Instructor will contact the person nominated on the enrolment form immediately and advise of medical assistance required for the child.
5. BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT
5.1 We will not tolerate behaviours which include inappropriate physical actions towards other children, programme staff, offensive language, teasing or bullying of others.
5.2 Our programme staff with notify parents/guardians/caregivers of any extreme behaviour which affects the running of the programme.
6. HEALTH AND SAFETY
6.1 AUT Millennium staff will take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of children while they participate in AUT Millennium Programmes.
6.2 AUT Millennium will take reasonably practicable steps to ensure all risks to the Health and Safety of children attending the programme are eliminated, or if not possible, minimised as required by the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
6.3 AUT Millennium staff will ensure all children are provided with an easy to understand health and safety briefing at the commencement of each day at the programme.
6.4 All children must comply with any notice or direction given by AUT Millennium staff relating to the control, safe use, security and protection of the facility.
6.5 Parents/guardians/caregivers must ensure that any medical conditions or allergies are disclosed on the booking form and that adequate arrangements are made to manage these.
7. PARENT/GUARDIAN/CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1 Ensure the information supplied on the online enrolment is correct and up-to-date.
7.2 Ensure your child has the appropriate clothing, hat, sunscreen, swimwear and towel, water bottle and a large lunch and morning tea.
7.3 Ensure electronic games, phones and hand-held devices are left at home and children do not bring any valuables with them. AUT Millennium is not responsible and accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to children's possessions.
7.4 Ensure that your child is signed in and out of the program as detailed in Item 3.
8. GENERAL
8.1 Should your child have any concerns regarding any of the activities, they must talk to the programme staff.
8.2 Swimming is offered on some programmes. Pool rules which are delivered by the programme staff or our pool lifeguards must be followed at all times.
8.3 We welcome everyone regardless of ability or disability. Access is gained via disability chair into the swimming pool and accessible toilet and changing facilities are available.
8.4 Copies of policies and procedures will be available for parents to view from our Programme Co-ordinator.
8.5 Our aim is for your child to have a fun experience with us - please talk to our Programme Co-ordinator if you have any concerns.
8.6 Activities may change without notice if circumstances demand and AUT Millennium will not offer any refund for this occurring.
8.7 Off-site activities (i.e. not based at AUT Millennium's facility) are described in the programme schedule. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you are agreeing to your child being transported to and from various off-site activities specified in the programme brochure.
9. ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT HOLIDAY ACADEMY AND ASSESSMENT
9.1 You agree that your child has been advised to consult a doctor before using any of the centre gym facilities and will follow any instructions or advice given by them.
9.2 You agree that your child does not suffer from any physical, medical or mental condition that may be aggravated by your child's use of the centre gym facilities.
9.3 You understand that the Athlete Development (staff and students) may take an anthropometric and fitness profile of your child.
The anthropometric profile will involve measuring skin folds, girths, lengths, breadths and widths of the body. Your child will have their body marked (with water based pen) at specific anatomical sites as outlined by ISAK (The International Society for the Advancement of Kinoanthropometry) and these should wash off in 1-2 days. Some of the procedures (such as skin folds) may be slightly uncomfortable at the time the measurements are being taken, but they should NOT be painful. The fitness profile will involve measures of Speed and Acceleration, Agility and Explosive Strength, Leg Power, Strength Endurance and Aerobic Endurance. All measurement procedures will be explained to your child as they go through the profile by the person taking the assessment, so they should be totally informed of what is happening.
9.4 The information obtained by the anthropometric and fitness profiling will be treated as privileged and confidential and will not be released or revealed to any person without your expressed written consent. The information obtained, however, may be used for statistical or scientific purpose with your right of privacy retained. Your child will receive a personal report of the results of these tests.
10. EMAIL COMMUNICATION
AUT Millennium sends regular email updates to families. These include relevant information about the facilities, public holidays, closures, or events. You can at any time opt out of receiving commercial electronic messages (i.e. emails which market or promote AUT Millennium goods and services) under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act.
11. DECLARATION AND PERMISSION
We would appreciate if you would take the time to read these conditions carefully and should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Programme Co-ordinator.
By clicking on the acceptance box on the online enrolment, you:
1. Agree to the Terms and Conditions set out by the AUT Millennium.
2. Confirm all the information provided is true and correct and that AUT Millennium have been provided with all the information concerning the child necessary for AUT Millennium to safely take care of the child while attending the programme.
3. Will inform AUT Millennium immediately if any of the above information changes.
