GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We/I have read the Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics terms and conditions available on the website and understand that violation of the terms and conditions may result in dismissal from the club.

 

REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE FEE

We/I understand registration and insurance is payable annually. If we/I request a transfer of registration to another club, we/I understand that one months notice is required along with payment of all outstanding invoices. We/I also understand that registration & insurance is non transferable and non refundable.

 

TERM AND HOLIDAY FEES

We/I understand that all term fees are payable within 7 days of receipt of invoice and / or prior to commencing classes. By week 4 all unpaid fees (whether due in full or in instalments) will incur a $50 late fee. If fees remain unpaid by week 6, gymnasts wont be permitted to continue until all outstanding fees are paid. We/I also understand that term fees are non transferable and non refundable.

 

COMPETITION FEES

We/I understand that all competition fees are payable within 7 days of receipt of invoice and / or prior to the event. All unpaid competition fees will result in your daughter not being entered into the competition and not eligible to participate. Once entered and paid, should you need to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances, illness or injury, you may request a refund less the 40% administration fee. Refunds will only be approved on the receipt of written evidence and / or a medical certificate prior to the event or within 5 working days post event. Should you decide to withdraw or forfeit the event for any other reason, you will be charged the full amount and will not be eligible for a refund.

 

WAIVER & RELEASE

Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics and its employees wishes to clearly advise parents that participation, both active and/or passive, in events and recreational activities forming part of any program contain elements of risk, both obvious and inherent. While the club takes measures to make the activities as safe as reasonably possible for participants, there is a risk that your child can be injured, suffer loss and damage as a result of their participation in these activities. Such injury can occur while the participant is engaging in or watching an activity, or travelling to and from the event. On some occasions, an injury can be serious (such as torn ligaments, dislocations, back injuries, concussion or broken bones). In extremely rare cases an injury can be life threatening or result in permanent disability. Participants could also suffer loss as a result of their personal property being lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.

 

We/I understand and accept that participating in an event or activity in a program, our/my child may be exposed to a risk of injury (obvious or otherwise) and which may arise or result from, but not restricted to, my/our childs or another participants actions or omissions, the state of the premises at which the events or activities occur or the equipment used.

 

We/I consent to our/my childs participation in the Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics program in the full knowledge and understanding of such risks and accept that our/my childs participation is voluntary.

 

We/I agree that to the fullest extent permissible by law (including any applicable legislation), in no event shall Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics be liable for any claims for loss or damage including but not limited to claims for negligence, misleading or deceptive advice, damages arising from loss or use of equipment and any indirect, special or consequential damages or injury to any person or property, and any liability or guarantee Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics may have to me/us and or our child/children in respect of recreational services are expressly excluded.

 

We/I hereby waive, release and forever discharge Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics in respect of any and all claims that we/I, or our/my child may have against Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/As Aurora Gymnastics for any damage, loss and/or injury (including fatality and permanent disability) suffered by our/my child or property during, in the course of or as a result of her/his participation in a program.

 

MEDIA RELEASE

We/I agree to Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics using photos and video footage of my child for club promotions, publications or staff training including but not limited to; assessment & evaluation purposes, related websites, media broadcast and / or print publication and social media.

 

MEDICAL CONSENT

We/I hereby consent for Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics and its employees to provide simple first aid for minor injuries.

 

We/I understand that every endeavour will be made to contact me (or other contacts provided) prior to any additional medical attention being sought. Should contact not be possible, We/I hereby authorise Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics to seek medical attention on my behalf (including, by not limited to, treatment, emergency transport, x-ray, hospitalisation, anaesthesia and medication) in the event of an accident, mishap or illness during my child's participation in activities with Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics. We/I understand that any additional medical services above simple first aid will be at my expense and deemed necessary and / or appropriate by Shire Rhythmic Gymnastics Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Gymnastics.
