The Cricket Academy has been developed to give children and teenagers the opportunity to develop their cricketing skills through innovative games, coaching and match play.
Every day features a variety of engaging technical (batting, bowling and fielding), gameplay and challenges.
 
All our sessions are tailored to the age of the participants and are delivered by ECB qualified coaches. We utilise coaching equipment that’s trusted by professional athletes, ensuring a top-notch learning experience for every camper.
 
TCA Lower Order (5-7 year olds) is all about learning through gameplay. Children will take part in a day packed full of cricket, functional movement and hand-eye coordination games, activities and challenges. The camp introduces and explores basic cricketing concepts in a fun learning environment.

Activity Highlights

  • Technical sessions - Learn the basics in fun, engaging batting, bowling and fielding sessions
  • Warm up games - Play games against children in your age group
  • The Activate Games - Take part in the Activate Games, working in mixed-age teams throughout the camp, finishing with a world cup

What to bring

  • Packed Lunch, snacks and a refillable drinks bottle
  • We provide everything you need for camp but you are welcome to bring along your own cricket bat and cricket equipment

What to wear

  • Wear suitable clothing for cricket (it doesn't need to be cricket whites)
  • Bring appropriate clothing for the weather e.g. sun hat (sun cream applied before camp), rain coat, jumper etc.
